Privacy Policy

Truckit USA Freight Co LLC ("we," "us," "our") operates FastQuotes (fastquotes.io), Axle (our freight assistant), and the Axle connector that lets AI assistants request freight quotes. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Information We Collect

A. When you use the FastQuotes website or app

  • Account details: name, email, phone, company, and login credentials (passwords are stored encrypted by our authentication provider).
  • Quote details you enter: pickup and delivery locations, equipment, dimensions, weight, commodity, services, and dates.
  • Messages you send to our team or to Axle.

B. When you connect an AI assistant (such as Muse or Grok)

  • The email address and optional company name you provide to set up access.
  • The shipment details your assistant sends to request a quote (locations, equipment, dimensions, weight, commodity, services).
  • Booking requests you choose to send, including the contact details you provide for a callback.
  • Technical records of each request: the time, the access key used (we store keys in hashed form), and the request's IP address, used for security and daily limits.

We only receive what your assistant sends us to get a quote or request a booking. We don't have access to your assistant account, your other conversations, files, or contacts.

C. Collected automatically on our websites

  • Device, browser, and basic usage information (pages visited, interactions) through privacy-focused analytics. We do not use session recording.

2. How We Use Information

  • Provide quotes, save quote history, and process booking requests.
  • Contact you about a quote or booking you requested, or about your access (for example, raising your daily limit).
  • Keep the service secure: prevent abuse, enforce daily limits, and troubleshoot.
  • Improve our pricing and market estimates. Quote data may be used in aggregated or de-identified form.
  • Notify our team when a new connection or booking request comes in.

We do not sell or rent personal information.

3. AI Processing

Some features, such as Axle's answers and written explanations, send the relevant details you provide to AI service providers (such as OpenAI and Anthropic) to generate a response. We do not allow these providers to use your data to train their models. Freight rates themselves are calculated by our own pricing engine.

4. Sharing

We share information only as needed to run the service:

  • Service providers that host and operate FastQuotes (database, hosting, email delivery, analytics, and AI processing).
  • Freight operations: when you request a booking, your shipment and contact details are shared with our brokerage partner, Tallgrass Freight, and the motor carrier assigned to move the load. Quotes alone are not shared.
  • Legal: when required by law or to protect our rights and users.

We do not sell data to marketers or data brokers.

5. Your AI Assistant's Own Policies

Your AI assistant (for example, Meta's Muse or xAI's Grok) is operated by its provider under its own privacy policy. What you share with your assistant, and how it stores your conversations, is governed by that provider, not by us.

6. Retention

  • Account information: kept until you ask us to delete it or the account stays inactive for an extended period.
  • Quotes and booking requests: kept as business records; may be de-identified and retained for market estimates.
  • Connector access records and security logs: kept for up to 12 months.

7. Your Choices and Rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your information, or to turn off your connector access, by emailing john@fastquotes.io. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law.

8. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit, hashed access keys, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure.

9. Children

FastQuotes is a business service and is not directed to anyone under 18.

10. Changes

We'll post updates on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
